The staff is great, the customer service level is at a high level. They pay attention to details, it was my bday during our stay and I found in the room a bday card and cake (complimentary). The hotel is located in banking district area, a safe area to walk around even late in night. The trip to/from IST Int. Airport takes about 40' (by taxi), which is a good thing, considering that Istanbul is a huge city (btw., we were using the transfer service provided through Booking and we had a positive experience). The breakfast is excellent, with many options to choose from.

Highly recommend and if you are the average person, you will love it. Size was great for 3 people, grocery store across the street and subway next door. People at the desk were happy and helpful.

The property was amazing and very clean. All the staff were very professional, kind, helpful and extremely polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I am planning to come back very soon. It was so good that I extended my stay with my family for an extra 4 nights. The breakfast buffet was lovely, wide variety of food and the staff were always on hand to serve you.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melas Hotel Istanbul for my vacation, and it was truly amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional service and hospitality. The Melas Hotel Istanbul exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The amenities provided were top-notch, and I felt like every detail was taken care of to ensure my comfort. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay memorable. I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my time there. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Melas Hotel Istanbul and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I can't wait to come back!

Where do I start! Melas hotel is a gem of a hotel. It’s clean and has all the amenities of a 5* hotel. But it’s people that make places! My stay was wonderful from the time I arrived till the time of departure. The location of the hotel is fairly central to get to most places in Istanbul. However, if you are a first time visitor in Istanbul and you are looking to occupy in the main tourist attractions, then you may wish to consider a hotel in the Sultanahmet or Taksim square area. But having said that, you can still commute from here within half an hour by taxi (depending on traffic which can be heavy at the most of times). But if a peaceful night sleep is necessary, then this is the place to be. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good variety of food. If there is anything in particular you would like then that can be arranged. Once again, nothing is too much trouble. I used to have the best Turkish tea here which I’ll miss. A big thanks to Emre Zeytun and his team for their hospitality and bending over backwards. Emre, you have promised to show me the Asian side of Istanbul next time I am there so I will look forward to that. Also, a big thanks to Leyla at the reception for all her efforts. Leyla is a gem at this beautiful hotel and she will go to all lengths to help her guests with the information required. She is very friendly, helpful and a lovely person. Thank you Leyla. Everyone at the hotel makes so much effort (with a smile) that is so effortless that you don’t mind asking. There are so many people I would like to thank for contributing to the comfort of my stay but I apologise as I was unable to take the names of them all. I wish all the team here a continued success and I look forward to coming back here soon.
